Role : MRO / Plant Buyer (m/f/d)

They are seeking a proactive MRO Buyer / Plant Buyer to manage the procurement of critical materials, optimize costs, and ensure seamless plant operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials to ensure smooth business operations
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance while fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues effectively.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill material requirements.
- Analyze inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fluent in English and German (at least B2 level).
- Proven experience in MRO procurement or a similar purchasing role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of procurement software and systems.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to change and challenges.
