Position Overview:
The Procurement Manager - Software and Cloud will be responsible for procuring software, cloud services, and related technologies to support the company's global operations. This includes managing relationships with software vendors, negotiating cloud service contracts, and implementing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and high-quality software and cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with IT, engineering, and production teams to ensure the seamless integration of these technologies into the company's infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for software solutions and cloud services, ensuring alignment with the company's technological and business needs.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for software, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS solutions.
- Negotiate contracts with software vendors and cloud service providers to secure the best terms in pricing, service levels, and delivery timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key software and cloud providers, ensuring high-quality, reliable services.
- Work closely with IT, engineering, and business units to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities are aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor the performance of software and cloud vendors, track key performance indicators, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Stay current on trends and innovations in the software and cloud services markets to identify new opportunities for procurement efficiency and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and procurement standards in all software and cloud contracts.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on software and cloud services, preferably within a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of software procurement, SaaS contracts, and cloud services, including platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proven track record in negotiating software and cloud contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
