A leading pharma organization is currently seeking a Logistics Leader to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing production delivery, including storage and shipping, & overall supply chain management. The successful candidate will ensure effective planning, scheduling, and resource distribution, collaborate with commercial teams, enhance supply chain capabilities, and manage logistics activities within the site while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities for the Logistics Leader:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve Safety, Quality, Supply Chain Customer Service, and Cost objectives.
- Provide functional leadership for logistics, driving process improvements for excellent customer service and supply chain effectiveness.
- Align logistics targets with site and business objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Ensure strong compliance in Quality, EHS, and Data Integrity in production planning, materials planning, warehousing, and shipping.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets and quarterly projections, focusing on volumes, inventories, and department spending.
- Develop logistics goals and procedures to ensure compliance with GMPs, internal controls, policies, and business rules.
- Manage warehouse activities, including multi-shift operations, while implementing and tracking logistics metrics.
- Build alignment with manufacturing and support teams for seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Maintain strong relationships across the logistics network to foster a flexible, reliable supply chain and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements for the Logistics Leader:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of logistics experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing a team.
