They mainly focus on eliminating the complications of infection, thrombosis, and phlebitis within intravenous therapy.
Position Summary:
My client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead and oversee the manufacturing process flow within the company. The ideal candidate will be open to taking on and facing challenges hands-on. They will also be improving and supporting the process of the medical devices for the therapeutic practices and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Making sure the manufacturing process runs smoothly with no issues to improve the efficiency and safety.
- Being able to continuously improve the process to see if there would be any room for improvement within the quality of the products.
- Being able to execute and lead the team in the right direction.
- Analyze solutions to make improvements within the company.
- Work with Quality Control to determine any production and supplier quality issues
- Work alongside product development team to help design different tools
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Plastics Engineering
Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years of experience within a highly regulated environment, preferably within the medical device industry
- Proficient with SolidWorks
- Exposure to ISO 13485
- Practice with plastics processing
- Strong verbal skills
- Strong written communication skills are key
- Organizational Skills
