Join Our Team as a Sanitation Manager (Day shift)!
Are you passionate about food safety and sanitation? We're on the lookout for a dynamic Sanitation Manager to become a key player in our team, working closely with our Quality and Production departments. This role is crucial in ensuring top-notch food safety, maintaining pristine cleanliness, and managing our cleaning chemical inventory for maximum efficiency. You'll collaborate with the QA Director to uphold and monitor our sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs).
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Over 5 years in a Sanitation/Quality role, specifically in food or beverage manufacturing.
- Certifications: PCQI and HACCP-certified, with hands-on experience in CIP systems.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sanitation Planning: Develop and manage the annual sanitation plan and budget, tracking key metrics to ensure safety.
- Health & Safety Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to our health and safety programs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Quality, Production, and Safety teams to ensure seamless operations.
- CIP Utilization: Effectively use CIP systems to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Training & Compliance: Implement training programs that meet regulatory requirements.
- Daily Operations: Ensure the plant is cleaned daily and production schedules are met.
- Auditing & Reporting: Conduct audits, report non-compliance, and take corrective actions.
- Leadership: Lead regular sanitation meetings with the Operations team.
