Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Planning: Understand contract details and materials, identify and evaluate vendors, create and analyze RFPs, negotiate deals, and develop procurement plans.
- Post-Award Procurement: Share bid documents with the project team, collaborate on procurement tasks, and disseminate market insights.
- Market Analysis: Monitor pricing trends and lead times, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure contract compliance.
- Contract Interpretation: Read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Travel: Visit project sites and vendors as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent.
- Experience with OEMs, subcontractors, and fabricators.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
