A leading automotive company is looking for a talented Team Lead within Strategic Purchasing to join their growing team in Upper Austria. The company specialises in providing high-tech solutions in the fields of automotive, energy, and other industrial sectors by collaborating with customers and partners to develop solutions that meet the evolving demands of the automotive and industrial sectors. The company has a long history spanning over 90 years, and is has manufacturing facilities and subsidiaries in 10 countries with over 6000 employees.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3 purchasing professionals to develop and implement the purchasing strategy
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Ensure that purchasing activities are in line with company policies and procedures
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective action plans where necessary
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that purchasing activities support the overall business objectives
- Analyse market trends and identify new suppliers and products
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible terms and conditions
- Manage the purchasing budget

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field

- Fluency in English and German
