The ideal candidate will be an expert in strategic sourcing and deep sourcing methodology, capable of managing ambiguous projects involving complex data. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in category management, data analytics, and proficiency in spreadsheet tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex sourcing projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Utilize deep sourcing methodologies to identify and engage with potential suppliers.
- Analyze complex data sets to inform sourcing decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve the best terms for the organization.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses to leadership team.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing
- Experience managing direct reports
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle ambiguous and complex projects.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in using sourcing and procurement software and tools.
