Strategic Sourcing Manager

Strategic Sourcing Manager Overview: One of the largest Healthcare GPOs is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to play a pivotal role in developing the strategic sourcing strategies for Facilities Operations and Capital Construction. Your focus will be on identifying supply sources, managing supplier contracts, and overseeing supplier relationships to secure best-in-class pricing and contract terms
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage strategic sourcing for construction, capital, and facilities categories.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for optimal terms.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Proactively engage with vendors to mitigate and/or resolve supply chain issues.
- Oversee contract development, execution, implementation and compliance.
- Negotiate national agreements for Facilities Operations and Capital Construction.
- Identify and manage supply sources and supplier contracts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Indirect procurement experience, specifically capital projects, construction, facilities categories
- Strong negotiation and implementation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar certification, preferred
- Project Management experience
- Healthcare experience
