Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to lead and optimize critical functions, including procurement, production scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. Your expertise will be essential in driving operational efficiency, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and delivering outstanding service across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Communication
- Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effectively convey root causes, countermeasures, risks, and solutions to drive decision-making and problem resolution.
Performance Optimization & Data-Driven Strategy
- Establish, monitor, and enhance departmental KPIs using data-driven methodologies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets align with the global sourcing strategy.
Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing to forecast demand and develop production schedules.
- Optimize raw material strategies to support working capital gains while maintaining operational flexibility.
- Ensure seamless integration of engineering changes into production and supply chain processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with production, finance, and other departments to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Support the timely implementation of strategic sourcing and product development initiatives.
Requirements
Experience & Leadership
- Proven leadership in a supply chain role, preferably within the electronics industry.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to set priorities and drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Track record of driving change management and continuous improvement.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong ability to analyze and resolve supply chain challenges using data and production tools.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling, reporting, and presentation software.
- Extensive MRP/systems knowledge, including implementation experience.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of supply chain experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional supply chain certification preferred (e.g., CPIM, CPSM).
